It was a dark and chilly night, and the streets on this particular side of town were empty, but they had a dangerous air to them. Kayla, a small-framed, fragile girl was walking the streets, her short blue hair sticking out in the dark. Her eyes were wide as she took each tiny step. At every rustle, she jumped, whimpering.

Aza stepped from the corner of the sidewalk, where a busted lamp cast a flickering yellow light. She smiled, the sweet gesture out of place with everything about her. her rough eccentric clothing, the dark surroundings, and the cunning in her movements, "Are you lost?"

Kayla froze, like a deer in the headlights. "N-no!" she squeaked, jumping to face her. "I kn-know exact- exactly where I am." she stuttered. The poor girl was shaking and almost on the verge of tears now.

"There there now, it's ok. Tell me where you're going. It's not safe to walk these streets alone. You never know who you could bump into." Aza smiled, her golden brown hair fraiming her face.

Kayla took a couple steps back. "P-please, leave me alone." she begged. "I know where I'm going! I just thought that this route would b-be faster!"

With one purple fingernail, Aza caressed the side of the girl's face. "Why are you scared? If I'm correct, you have no idea where you're going,,, am I right?" she asked, a smile in her voice. Aza wasn't really great on mental communication, but she could grasps hints from someone's consciousness. This girl was terrified, and you could bet your booties Aza was going to have fun with this fact.

When Aza touched her face, she jumped backwards, falling on her behind. "Ah, uh, yeah... I guess I am lost." she finally admitted quietly. "But I don't need your help!"

"Oh, but I think you do!" Imeediately switching to a nice, sincere, maybe even frightened tone, Aza said, "Theres rumours of this person. They call her the Golden Demon. She's the worst of all the thugs around here. It wpould be bad luck if that person found you walking alone, reeking as you do of fear. Don't you think I should escort you to wherever you'd like to go? I'm pretty familiar with the area and have little to do tonight."

Kayla froze completely. She went over the pros and cons of the situation before giving a meek, "You would really walk me home?" which translated to a yes in her book. The small girl got to her feet and brushed her skirt free of gravel.

Aza started for a moment. She saw the hesitant hopefulness, and for some reason, she was reminded of Sissy and Nina, the only two people she had ever cared to care about. Her expression softened genuinly for a brief second, and she said, "Of course."
Once her back was to her, Aza began walking and had to clear her head. She liked to have fun didn't she? Of course she did. This girl was not Sissy or Nina. This girl would recieve no mercy or compassion from her.

Kayla scurried after her, frantically looking around. "Uh, thank you." she murmured. "My name is Kayla." she added.

"Aza," she said, keeping a steady pace. "Tell me, where are you going?"

Kayla managed to smile. "I'm going to a friends house." she responded. "She's a bit far from here, though."

"So she doesn't live downtown?" Wow, unless this girl was coming in through the forest or through the downtown itself it was completely pointless passing through this area.
((Downtowns near the corner and has a piece in the center xD))

Kayla nodded. "Yeah, she doesn't. Someone actually told me that this would be faster. Did they lie?" she asked.
