It was just a normal, quiet day, 100 years into the future. There was a small group of people who had gathered for a demonstration. "And now, Evie will demonstrate." announced a booming voice. A girl, no more than 18, stepped up with a broad smiled. She punched in the code on the watch and she was gone.
Evie was now falling, her eyes closed. In Emerald Valley, 100 years earlier, a bright hole opened in the sky, spitting her out onto the ground, and she landed with a small thud. She lifted her head, blinking her eyes. "Ow." she mumbled, getting to her knees. She looked down at her wrist to see if the watch was okay. It wasn't.

Ulee had been taking a stroll, mainly keeping an eye out for other Coven members. But, suddenly, he felt something. It was as if his very being was being punched and torn open. Trembling from the sudden force, he fell to his knees and gasped, clutching at his chest. The pain began to ebb away in waves. Coughing, he saw the red stains on his hands. "What the hell..." he ashked himself, hoarse. Rising on unsteady feet, Ulee noticed a girl before him. She was about his age, but her clothes and hair were... not.

Evie quickly picked up the pieces of the watch, cupping them in her hand. When she heard someone approaching, she dropped the pieces and jumped to her feet. "Don't come any closer!" she shouted, searching through her pockets for some sort of weapon, but all she had was a pen. She pulled it out and pointed it at him. "I have... have a pen!"

"Oh well, aren't you fearful." Wincing in pain, Ulee smiled. "May I ask who you are?" Kneeling down to be eyelevel, Ulee sat down cross-legged. His chest still hurt with the memory of the blow.

Evie narrowed her eyes, gripping the pen tightly. She realized he was hurt, and her female instincts kicked in. She dropped the pen and rushed to his side. "Are you alright? You don't look too good." she told him, trying to hold him up and steady him.

He shuddered slightly as her skin touched his. It was smoother, much smoother. And her time... normally he had to Memorize a girl's Time, but hers... It didn't belong. Wincing away from her touch and the whispering voice of her Time, he looked at her with serious golden eyes, "Where are you from?"

Evie held her arms close to her when he winced away. "Uh, well, I'm technically from here." she responded. "Just... one hundred years into the future." she told him. "Did I... Did I hurt you?" she asked softly.

"Future..." his eyes widened. 100 years... Emerald Valley would thrive... even after 100 years?! Her question broke into his thought bubble, "Um, no not you, per say. Your arrival. It had to rip a hole into our Time to let you in. And I can control Time so i felt it as if you had ripped a hole through me.''

Evie tilted her head. "Oh, your one of those, uh, vampires, right?" she asked. Before he could question her, she smiled. "In the future, the vampires were out of hiding." she told him, but then she quickly covered her mouth. "Forget I said that! I wouldn't want to ruin the future!"

He smiled shaking his hea, she sounded as ditzy as Jared, "Sounds like a good future." Getting to his feet, he helped her up, ignoring her ultra smooth skin. "Have you any way to get back? Things in the future might be ruined if you stay."

Evie shook her head. "Uh, no... I don't have any way home... You see, this is, well was... The first time machine." she explained. "And it, well, broke..." she told him, holding up the broken fragment of the watch.

His face paled, "Yup, truly interesting things happen in Emerald Valley." Taking her hand, he began to lead her out of the neighborhood and into the forest. "Sorry," he told her seeing her face. "You're clothes don't fit in and being around in the urban part of Emerald Valley is very dangerous. You're lucky I found you," he laughed, "It could have been Aza."

Evie nodded. "I understand." she told him. "I wouldn't wanna cause a riot." But when he said Aza, her eyes hardened. "Aza? I hate that woman..." she growled. "She's still around in the future, and she's very dangerous. And... she killed my family." she added with a whisper.

He sighed, "Thats not good." But, if Aza was around then, were they? He wanted to ask, but maybe simply knowing would be dangerous. So he kept his mouth shut. They arrived at the mouth of the Cave that served as their headquarters. "To get to the cave will be a while, since its at the heart of the maze of tunnels." Pulling her in, he led her though the labyrinth of carved rock, Over the underground lake, where the only pasage was a stone bridge slick with icy water, and finally, to the hidden crevice right before a chasm that served as the entrance to the Cave. Putting her first, Ulee slid down into the Cave after her. The Cave was warm and brightly lit, unlike it's protective exterior. Rain and Jared were quarrelinglike siblings in the living room, but they looked up having seen Evelyns strange attire.

Jules had been sitting by, watching with a smile on her face. She was glad things were back to normal. When an oddly dressed girl arrived, she froze.
Evie felt all eyes on her and she felt her face heat up slightly. "There's quite a lot of people here." she commented.
