"And I don't care, Blaze. Screw the past! When your thirsty, you can't help it." Haylee took a few steps toward him.

Blaze's eyes flashed angerily. "You have no idea what I go through every day. You have no idea what restraints I need to keep from killing people." He stepped back, tripping over one of the swings. He fell backward onto the ground, making a deep indentation in the ground below him. "You have to stay away from danger. Otherwise something will happen."

"You say stay away from danger? But staying away is impossible for me. I'm attracted to danger, and danger's attracked to me. What do you expect me to do, Blaze? Stay locked up in my room until I'm all old and shirveled up?"

"I'm telling you to stay away from me, at least. I'm not telling you to go die in your house. I'm not ordering you to do anything. I'm advising you to stay away from me and all the other idiot in this town." He crawled backward on his hands a few inches.

"Blaze, asking me to stay away from you... It's like telling a fish not to swim, or a bird not to fly. But, if thats waht you want, fine. I'll be on my way, then." Haylee looked at him for a moment before walking away.

Blaze rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Stupid girl in this stupid town," he muttered, standing up. He knew he was lying to himself, but he wouldn't admit it. He turned to started walking away, not looking back to see Haylee leave.

Haylee felt her eyes water and she spun around. "Blaze!" but he was gone. She reached in her pocket and pulled out the garlic she still carried around. Haylee squeezed it and threw it to the dirt. She lifted her foot and squished it until it was chopped into little pieces. "I hate this." she growled. But she felt her heart tear as she thought of him. Haylee clenched her fists, but fell to her knees and cried for the first time in a long while.
