Peter had come into the small coffee shop and sat at a table. Recently, he had been experiencing anger toward anyone and everyone who looked at him. He sat with clenched fists, thinking about his new life, if you called it a life at all.

Izzy gracefully walked into the coffee shop. She didnt bother to order anything, but instead she sat on a couch. She sat with her knees to her chin and began sketching the scene in front of her. There was, unmistakably a vampire sitting at a table, and he looked a little agnry, but Izzy continued to sketch.

Peter felt someone looking at him and he turned to see another vampire sitting on a couch, sketching something. He looked back at the table, lifting one fist to his forehead. He felt like getting up and throwing something, but he stayed put. He wanted more than anything to be back to normal, and even if that meant he would be dead he still didn't want to be like this.

"Stay still." izzy hissed under her breath. She continued to sketch, quicker now, in order to get the right scene.

Peter heard the vampire say something, and he grunted angrily. He felt like hunting for something to drink, but he stayed there, hoping not to be yelled at in this public place by a complete stranger. He wondered what the vampire was sketching.

She quickly finished, and stood up. She ripped the piece of paper off and dropped it on the strangers table. "Merry Christmas." she said cheerily.

Peter looked down at the sketch. His expression changed to curiousity. He hadn't realized he looked so angry, like he was about to kill something and scream at the top of his lungs. He stood, grabbing the sketch and started walking out of the coffee shop.

Izzy scowled and walked after him. "Do I not get a hello or a thanks or anything?"

Peter tried to ignore her, opening the door. The bell at the top jingled and he let go of the door, hoping to loose the vampire.

The door slammed in her face and she growled. She pushed it back open and followed him. "Don't think your getting away that easily."

"Will you stop following me?!" Peter shouted at her, his teeth clenched tightly. "Don't you understand that I'm not in the mood." He thought about using his power, but in the middle of town it would be too risky.

"I don't understand. I'm not that easy to shake off."

"Well, maybe it's different with me." Peter felt his fingers crack as he tighten his fists even more. "Now, run along and leave me alone like a nice little vampire girl."

"Nice? You seriously think I'm nice?" she said. She had her hand on her hip, and her eyes were ablaze.

"You expect me to know what you're like? You just suddenly started sketching me while I was trying to be alone. So, no, I guess you're not nice. Now why don't you go running back to Rain and leave me be." He turned away from her and started running a little faster than human speed along the sidewalk.
