Peter growled angrily at himself. He had to try and keep himself from blowing up the streets and houses in town. He couldn't help thinking about her every second of the day; It made him sick to his stomach.

Izzy walked slowly along the streets, her hood over her eyes and her sketchbook wrapped in her arms. She couldn't get him out of her mind, and her sketching hadn't helped. Every page now was of him, every smile he smiled at her, every laughed he laughed with her, was recorded in her sketchbook. It was all she had left of him.

Peter looked at the sidewalk across the street. It was a girl in a hood. Her hair looked so much like Izzy's... And her scent was too familiar. he thought he was imagining it, so he ignored her. Instead, he stared at the ground with a sad expression on his face from the lonliness.

Izzy heard footsteps. She glanced out the side of her hood and saw Peter. Anger and sadness welled up inside her. She felt tears of both emotions roll down her face, hot against her cheeks.

I hope she's happy, where ever she is and whoever's with her... he thought, although that gave him the idea that Taylor was her new boyfriend. That only made him angrier. He looked at a small tree a few feet away from him and blew it to pieces, hoping the girl wouldn't notice. Who cares if she saw that. Everyone will think she's crazy.

Izzy pushed the hair out of her face and looked over at him. "Trees have feelings too, you know." she said, quietly.

Peter froze, not wanting to see her face and at the same time dying to look at her. He couldn't speak, not a word or sound could come from his mouth.

"Where's your little girlfriend? Aren't you two inseparable?" Izzy continued, still quietly.

Peter growled again. "Are you here to tell me how wonderful you're life is without me? How much you hate me? How happy you are with someone else?"

Izzy laughed dryly and shook her head. She pushed off her hood and pushed more of her hair away from her face. "Happy? I've done nothing but mope around since that day." She pointed to her tear stained face. "Crying usually isn't a sign of happiness, usually."

"But you still hate me, am I right? Even though I didn't know that it wasn't you, that I would never do that to you on purpose."

"I never did hate you. You shocked me, and no matter how angry you get me sometimes, I don't think I could ever say I hate you."

"Then why did you stop talking to me?" he asked angrily, spinning around to face her. "I don't have enough love in my heart for anyone but you, and I could never love somebody else."

"How did you expect me to act, Peter? Was I just supposed to turn the other cheek and not say anything? You did hurt me Peter, and it still hurts. But, like I said, I can't hate you."

"I didn't do anything but kiss who I thought was you. Then you blame me for kissing Katie on purpose when I didn't even know it was her. What if Taylor forced you to kiss him when I came around the block. It's the same thing, Izzy, almost exactly."
