Well, as an author's note kinda thing... I realized something as I was creeping the site. Jared and Jules never went on a date. They just sorta... Started liking each other ^.^ So I figured after everything settled down... They needed it. So, Here goes. It might switch views... ^.^
"Ow!" I shouted as Rain plucked my eyebrows. "Rain, really. I don't see the point in DOING this. What's with the sudden make over?" Rain only smirked. What Jules didn't know is that she and Ulee had planned Jared's and her first date. After winning that battle... She felt it necessary. Rain giggled. "Just let me work my magic." she insisted, whipping out the mascara and eyeliner. I actually felt myself cringe. "Rain, no need to get feisty. I'll behave, I promise!" But Rain only smirked, holding me down. "This is for your own good, Jules." She said and put on the makeup.
On the other hand... Ulee was forcing Jared to shower and freshen up. "But Ulee." he whined. "Why do I have to get all fresh for our boy's night out?" But Ulee shoved his cousin into the shower and waited. He was happy to finally get the two lovebirds together.
After an hour of struggling with Rain, I was allowed to be untied from the chair. And yes, I am not exaggerating. Rain tied me to the chair.
Next, Rain made me get into a short, black dress that hugged my figure perfectly. "Rain, this is getting ridiculous. Why are you doing-" Before I could finish my sentence, Rain was strapping on high heels to my feet. "Rain, honestly, where do you get these things?" But she didn't respond. She pulled me up and studied me, tears in her eyes. "Your perfect!" she exclaimed. "Perfect for WHAT exactly?" I asked irritably. But I never got an answer before Rain blind folded me.
Jared, on the other hand, was being forced into dress pants and a black button up shirt, WITH a tie. "Ulee." he continued to whine as his cousin did his hair all special. "I don't see why your getting me all cleaned up. I already HAVE a girlfriend. Do you not like her?" But Jared's questions were left unanswered as his cousin blind folded him.
Not ten minutes later, Jules knew where she was. At a very fancy restaurant. "Rain, if this is a plan to get me and Jared to break up... I'd rather be told about it/ I'm perfectly happy with your goofy brother." I told her. I heard some one clear their throat and I took off my blind fold. And who was sitting in front of me? But Jared, looking as handsome as ever. I turned bright red and looked away. I would never understand how someone as gorgeous as Jared would ever even consider someone like me.
Hot. Sexy. Gorgeous. Mine. Those were the words that ran through Jared's mind as he saw his broccoli head. "Wow." was all he could say.
Wow? What was THAT supposed to mean? I knew it... Rain WAS trying to get us to break up. I wiped the tears out of my eyes.
"Oh, Juliette. Please, my little stalk of celery... Don't cry. I'm sorry. Was wow not the right word?" he asked, flustered.
I shook my head, the tears splashing onto the table. "Jared, I just don't understand how someone... someone as amazing as you would look at someone so... abnormal as me." I whispered and got up.
Rain watched from the shadows. "No, no!" she cursed quietly. Juliette wasn't supposed to feel like THIS! Had the two of them ruined their relationship?
I looked away and dashed out of the restaurant. I couldn't take watching him, and how... Wonderful he was.
Jared got up angrily and turned to his sister. He knew she was hiding. "Rain, what did you DO?" he asked in disbelief. Rain was at a loss for words. What had she missed. "Jules... She's sensitive about herself. Why do you think we haven't gone out too much? I was trying to get her to see I love her for her, and that she IS gorgeous!" Rain bit her lip. So there was a logical reason that the two hadn't gone out on a date before. Even more surprising... Jared was using logic? But all she could do was look at her shoes. "I thought you two deserved a night out."
Jared shook his head. "Next time, you and Ulee stay out of this." he murmured and chased after me.
I was hiding inside the little nook I had dubbed my hiding spot. As I heard his footsteps crunch near me, I tucked my legs into my chest. I was completely embarrassed. No one really knew how insecure I was... That the reason I loved animals was so that their cuteness would rub off on me.
Jared kneeled in front of me. "Jules, I had nothing to do with this." he murmured, and I buried my face into my knee caps. I felt my make up running down my pale cheeks. He reached in and tilted my chin upwards. "Jules, listen to me. You are GORGEOUS. Way more sexier than anyone I've ever seen. You need to understand that even if you weren't so sexy, I would still love you like I do. Because I love you, not your body." he whispered.
I wiped my eyes and looked up. "Jared, I'm just afraid... You've used your other girlfriends for sex, and I just don't want to be used for that."
Jared cupped my face and made me look at him. "I would never even consider that, Juliette. Because I truly love you, and I want you to love me as much."
I shyly looked away. "But Jared... I do love you... You are my first, my only, my favorite love."
Jared beamed and kissed me passionately, our whole relationship being described in that simple loving kiss. All of my fears and doubts seemed to melt away as his gentle hands held me close. And all I could think to murmur?
"I'm not your broccoli head."
