Peter was walking with Izzy as usual. The autumn leaves were bright and still falling off the branches of the trees. They were about in the same spot as when Ray attacked them a few months ago. The image of the bloodthirsty vampire was still fresh in Peter's mind, although he wouldn't dare bring it up now.

Izzy walked with Peter, a jacked around her for warmth. They were where a terrible accident had occurred with Ray trying to kill them. SHe looked around it silently. one hand in her pocket, one hand in Peter's.

Peter couldn't help but think of Taylor as well. Something about Ray and Taylor seemed similar, maybe the look in their eyes is similar? He couldn't find what it was, but he knew there was something there. He squeezed Izzy's hand gently, noticing her somewhat sad expression. "You okay?" he asked in a hushed voice. "We could leave if it makes you uncomfortable to be here."

"No, I'm fine." Izzy replied, smiling. "I was just deep in thought again, that's all."

"If you're sure," he sighed. "But you have nothing to worry about. I haven't seen Ray in the longest time. For all I know could be dead." He looked at the ground with a slighly confused expression. "You haven't seen him, have you?"

"Yes,I have seen him, actually." Izzy replied. "When we were... you know, fighting, I saw him and some other boy in the forest."

So he has friends? Hostages, maybe? It could be anything. "We should keep an eye out for them. They're probably a threat, or they'll become one."I won't let her get hurt again.

"Their not the only threat!" a voice growled from the forest, followed by a bullet.

Peter swiftly turned, just in time to explode the bullet. "What the hell are you doing out here, Taylor?!" he shouted. "And where'd you get a gun?"

"They give guns to anyone with a score to settle, bloodsucker." Taylor replied, shotting more at Peter.
"Taylor, don't!" Izzy cried.

Peter made the bullets explode, glaring at Taylor. "What's your deal, hmm? You have a gun now and that means you can do whatever you want? Yeah right."

"Well, I didn't know you were that stupid, Peter. These bullets can kill you, giving Izzy to myself." Taylor snarled.
"And what makes you think I'd listen to you?" Izzy growled.

"Because I don't mess around with the paralyzing bullets. I only use deadly ones." Taylor retorted. He turned and grinned at Izzy. "When he's gone, I won't have to force you to do anything."

Peter scowled at Taylor. "If word gets out that I'm dead, someone's going to come after you. I know people who would want to have the pleasure of killing me themselves. If they find out you did it, they'd be ruining your life. That or Ulee will destroy you." He grinned, stepping protectively in front of Izzy. "But, as I said before, I won't let that happen. You won't ever touch a hair on Izzy's head, or else."
