"Burn it." Alexei demanded. "Burn it or I'll show you my history first hand!"

"Didn't I tell you?" Sam sighed and stood, slowly walking over to get his bag. "I only write about the people I meet so I won't forget things, important things. I do it for me and me only. I do the same with sketching."

"Then show me," he challenged. "There won't be any reason I shouldn't have these if you show me."

Sam gasped from the immediate pain running through his body and reminders of his new beginning were forced back into his mind. "It's not so bad," he whispered to himself. "I've done this before, only it was a little less than this."

"You're saying that I shouldn't be myself?" Sam asked angrily, his fists clenched tightly. "I thought that I had the right to write words on a piece of paper for my own personal reasons, but apparently the ex-Russian Heir's opinion means more than freedom!"

"It should matter." Alexei snapped. "Or would you like my emotional pain to go along with the physical? The emotional pain is still eating away at my insides."

"You know what? I'll just go! You can be sure to never see my face again, as long as you're careful. You obviously hate just about every person besides your dead family!" He stood up, slung his bag over his shoulder and stormed off.

"No!" Alexei shouted. "Remember!" he barked louder, more pain being sent. "You will listen!" he commanded.

"You can't force me to do anything!" he hissed through his teeth, collasping on the ground. "You have no power over me!"

"You want a bet?" Alexei snapped. "Remember!" he shouted louder, even more pain then before. "Surrender yet?" he sneered.

Sam cried out in pain. "I went through this yesterday for a few hours," he whispered in agony. "This is nothing."

The cry of pain sent Alexei back into memories. His eyes watered. "Don't remember." he whispered and all pain was numbed. "I can't harm someone else." he apologized.
