"we wouldnt be leaving school! we can stay on school grounds if you want. besides, you think that blind old nut will notice?" He paused to make sure nobody was looking over there. "i mean they left you outside the library without anyone watching you, if we get back in time, nobody will notice!" he said in a whisper.

Kayla shook her head. "I don't think I could. I've already caused enough trouble today, and I have terrible luck. I'll end up ruining it." she mumbled.

Rayman thought for a moment then said, "Okay then." he scooted next to her." I'll just keep you company instead!" He said with a smile. "You're alone too much, well, by my standards at least." he added.

Rayman frowned. "but nobody should be used to being alone...everybody needs a friend..." he said. "that's why, i'm your friend, so you dont have to be alone!" he said then paused in thought. "can i has a hug....please?" he asked poking her.

Kayla lifted her head, and nodded. She leaned over and gave him a gentle hug. "Yeah, your my friend." she whispered quietly.

he hugged her back. "yup firends, amegos, buddies, whatever you want to call it." he said with a smile. Just at that moment Mrs. Cooper had noticed them. she stormed over and began to yell, "ARENT YOU SUPPOSED TO BE IN CLASS? WHY ARE YOU HERE?-("She sounds like my mom..." Rayman muttered.)- I DONT BELIEVE YOU'RE CLASS IS HERE. I SUGGEST YOU LEAVE BEFORE I REALLY DO HAVE TO REPORT YOU." she glared at him, then turned back towards her desk.
