Rain waited at the beginning of the Neverending Winds. (Not winds like the air...winds...liking winding around something...yeah...)) Eiji had left her a not outside her chamber giving her explicit directions on how to get thereand to wait. The Winds felt cillier today. She often passed them but avoided them like most of the people down here...or animals....
Sorano glided down carefully. "Hey." he said calmly. That was strange...Sorano...calm?

"Dont get use to it" Mistu warned coming out of his tunnel and out to the Neverending winds. "It happens about once every year maybe less" he said.

Sorano gazed at the Winds. His eyes far off "You know why it happens Mitsu." he said softly.
Rain stared at him. "Ok what happened...?!"
"It's the day i became the Thunder Bird."
"So? Weren't you born one? Whats there to be serious about?" asked Rain.
"My soul was transfered into the body of a Thunder Fledgling. But that day was when my lover an I were discovered." he murmered
"What?" asked Rain still confused

"But it wasn't her fault." he whispered. "It was mine. I didn't let her go. And when we were both already deep in love...was when they came."
((Eiji cant come until the rest of them are...-_-))

Kaede padded up to the group, smirking. "Is he telling that age old story again? I've heard it so many times, I've lost sympathy for him." she commented lazily.

Sorano didn't react. This day, once a year, he mourns in silence his loss... and his mistake.
((Lets see we still need Kozue Yasou Kei...and...thats it?))

"Would you leave him alone and let him tell his story I'm sure the girl wants to know about it..."Kei said as she came up.

Kaede simply ruffled her fur and shrugged off Kei's words. "He speaks too much of it. He's Sorano, the sulking bird." she teased him, but with no hint of joking around.

Sorano turned his dull eyes to her "The only time i told my story before this was on this same day...many years ago when i joined you. This is my second time telling the story Kaede. On this day i only mourn."
Rain whistled "You just got pwned Kaede..."

Kaede raised her eyebrows, amused. "Only one other time? It feels like every year you do this." she chuckled, and sat down, wrapping her massive tail around her paws.

Sorano turned his gaze back to the Neverending Winds. "She was a beautiful person. Both in human and in hawk form. Her name was Kyoko. I saw her near the forest...she tried to avoid me but I was very persistant. When we shared our first kiss...they came. It was like being attacked by dark thick clouds. Later i learned that they sucked away her soul...and her body. Both human and hawk. They removed my soul and destroyed my own body. I was transfered to a Thunder Fledgling. They've never allowed me to forget." ((This is Kyoko))

But Kaede couldn't sympathize. She had never learned to feel love like that, since she had grown to fear that emotion. She simply looked at the ground, flicking her tail around in the dirt. She did feel bad for not being able sympathize, of course. But. She. Had. Never. Loved. Like. He. Had.
