Peter rushed into the cavern with Izzy, ignoring the strange looks from the Coven. "Where's Ulee?" he shouted. But he didn't have to, because he saw Ulee in front of an oven pulling out a batch of brownies. "Izzy's having the baby."

Izzy clung to Peter in pain. She looked up at him with a pained looked. "Now I wish we hadn't done this." she managed to whisper.

Dropping the pan, Ulee's draw fell with it. Ripping his apron off, he turned around to face the Coven,
"I want EVERY woman in the Coven here! Every guy, WAIT OUTSIDE!"
Turning around he motioned to Peter,
"Come on, we have a small infirmary for our human members. Could you carry her... I don't really trust my legs right now." laughing nervously he stumbled up the stairs. He could stand before an evil leader, defeat vampires, but the thought of delievering a baby scared the lving beejebus out of him...

Peter kissed the top of Izzy's head and carefully lifted her in his arms. He followed Ulee up the stairs.

"P-put her there on the white bed," he pointed to a modern hspital bed. "Um... um... what do I do... Is there anyone in the Coven who knows how to deleiver a baby?!" he fled the room in a panic.
Popping his head in, Jared's eyes fell on Izzy and her rounded belly, "Oh! I do! I know!"
"Now I've seen it all." moaned Ulee, for some reason on the floor...

Peter laid her on the bed. "The master of time doesn't know how to deliver a child," he chuckled.

"Well I've never had the need to!" pouted Ulee dragging himself off the floor. "We'll have to rely on Jared...and hopefully Jules..."
"Alright! Get me some hot mater, towels, and if you have earplugs... get them. This won't be pretty." Adapting a businesslike manner, Jared swiftly tied an apron around himself. "Oh, and before you do anything wash your hands Ulee."
The blonde boy stared at his cousin with disbelief, "You burn the simplest meals and are a failure as a living being.... but you can deliver a baby?"
"Yep! Why do you ask?" Turning around he had a look of innocence on his face.
"... I'll get the d**n towels..."

Peter groaned and did a face-palm. "Of course it'd be just our luck," he whispered to Izzy, smoothing her hair.

Izzy managed a small giggle. "Surprises are everywhere now a days, Peter." she pointed out. "But it'll be okay; I promise."

Jared looked insulted,
"I can do many things! I'm a very talented guy actually..." Even he, noticed how off the mark that was...
"Anyway! Her contractions areless than two minutes apart... We gotta hurry, this won't be pretty. Peter, lay her down and make her as comfortable as you can, when she feels it coming, she has to be as relaxed and as in control as we can make her." Ordered Jared preparing a seat for her.

"So you're an expert on this, eh Jared?" Peter said, a scowl on his face. He didn't like being ordered around, of course, but he didn't argue as he made sure Izzy was comfortable.

"well!" said Jared exasperated, "You! can give birth to this child if you wish! Now... where's my bucket... all we can do now is wait... make sure she breathes well and pushes hard, or else the baby can suffocate... and she can die with it." he said grimly.

Izzy reached her hand up to stroke Peter's cheek. "We really should trust him." she murmured, cuddling his hand, but as more pain went through her body, she held tightly onto him, a few tears escaping her eyes.

He glared daggers at Peter,
"Someday... when Izzy's not around-" he was cut-off by Izzy's yell. "Crap, Peter, hold her hand and tell her to breathe, the child's coming." Snapping on some latex gloves Jared prepared as best as he could for the arrival of the child.
