Pushing them down the street they commenced their journey. Sure enoygh, once they'd pass the block. Dark shadows began to encircle them. Shizuko was very careful to keep her eyes on the street before her. She wanted to get as close as she could without a fight.
Aza...didn't care.

James kept his gaze locked on the ground it was really tempting to look up and he had tp keep his mind close so he wasnt tempting to use his power either.

Finally, they were completely surrounded by hostile vampires. Looking around, Aza breathed in deeply, even she, who was a had Mastered her Soul Material would not come out well in a battle against that many vampires.
"We've come to see your fortune teller." as soon as those words were out of her mouth, everybody tensed up real quickly-like

Rolling her eyes, she stepped foward rudely brushing him aside, "Geez, how would things get done in your coven without women?"
Raising her chin proudly, Aza spoke in a confident, almost haughty, voice. "We mean no harm towards your Miko," said the golden haired girl, using the appropiate term for their spirit medium, "I know it is rare and unusual for outsiders to enter this part of town but... I was hoping there'd be an exception for the Golden Demon," she tried hard not to scoff, "And some followers of the late Rain."
When she had announced that she was the Golden Demon, fear and anger had sparked in the vampires eyes, but when she mentioned Rain, interest replaced it all. A strong vampire stepped foward, "Many have come to see the Miko of what was once a proud tribe. but is now reduced to hiding in these slums, none have reached our sacred shrine and it's keeper. Why should you be allowed?"
Smiling knowingly, Aza gave a flourished bow, "Because my dear friend, as you may have heard, there are rumors that the traditions of old lie within that which gives Rain power, and with that, the ability to bring the ancient times back. Isn't that what your tribe wants?"
The man's expression betrayed nothing. "What happens outside our territory is of no concern of ours. Leave, our Miko does not wish to see-"
"And who gave you permission to speak for me, hm?"
As the crowd parted, it revealed an old woman. It was clear that once she had been proud and beautiful, but now, age had bent her and left only hints of that past beauty. "Ah, this is the Golden Demon who's messed with my boys eh?" laughing she looked Aza over, "Some trouble you've been hm?"
Seeing SHizuko she smiled a crinkly rare smile, "Ah child, I feel your connection to the Spirit World, but do not worry. It's not as dark and evil as you percieve it." Shifting her gaze to James, she studied him, "Oh young man, your heart is shattered. Traces of what it once was remain. But, whatever person you were before is gone now, is that not so?"
Aza nudged James, "Answer whatever she says and answer it truthfully." For once, her voice was devoid of sarcasm.

James looked up as the crowd parted he watched as Miko came over to them "Yes its true I've lost someone close to me" he said when she addressed him "and I have changed I will probably never be the same." He watched the older women he had respect for her but you could see the shadow of pain in his eyes. Just from talking about Rain when he wasnt over her still he knew his heart had shattered when Rain had been killed.

The Miko nodded, "Don't worry child. Your heart is still whole. I will tell you what you need to know, but only because you three are the first ones to openly request an audience with me." she laughed and turned to the vampire who had spoken earlier.
"Aaron... would you be so kind as to bring a chair out here? Make that four... you know how tired I get." The vampire literally bowed in respect, "Yes ma'am." Turning to the others he spoke in a much harsher voice, "C'mon you heard her! Don't just stand there!"
Chuckling, the old woman sat down on the chair that they had brought, "Sit please." she gestured towards the chairs.
Hesitantly, Shizuko sat on a chair to the right of James. Aza pulled it up and sat cross legged on the chair to the left of James.
"All right, tell me why you have come child." This time, her clear gray eyes focused on Shizuko.
"Well um you see... I am very bonded to the Darkness and the Afterlife. If I cocentrate enough I can find the souls of those who have passed. So... I wanted to find Rains soul to... make everyone a little better y'know? But I couldn't...
The Miko nodded, "Yes... and you knew the reasons for a souls absence did you not?"
Nodding hesitantly the young girl continued, "Yes... The first is that the soul has passed on entirely and has gone to the place of Light... which would be Heaven I guess... But the other would be that they move further into the darkness, which would be Hell, I can almost for sure cross that one off."
The old woman was now serious "But the third,"
"The third... her soul was absorbed... It's painful... and there's no way to save someone like that anymore..."
"So you're afraid of two of those choices?" Nodding, the woman took a stone slab from a vampire next to her, "I might not be able to tell you anything specific, but you'll have to make do."

"Anything would be better then nothing" James said from where he sat it the middle though he didnt like sitting he was to antsy to sit still he took a small breath and made himself sit still what she said could tell him more about Rain and what happen to her. He needed to know that the seconded or third choice had happen to her. Though he was sure the second one had happen to her.

"I can sense her... but oh so faintly. It's as if something larger and stronger is shielding her. Whatever it is... I can assure you I've never sensed anything like this before... ah!" Holding her hands to her face, she opened her eyes. "I'm sorry, that's all I could gather. Whatever was hiding her sensed me, and completely shut me out."
