Izzy sat in a tree with her eyes closed. She let the leaves lay on her stone still face. She was in her old brown jacket and white lacy camo. Her hair wasn't brushed and it was all over her face. In her hands were her sketch book, a half drawn tree open on the page.

Peter kicked a pinecone, sending it flying into a nearby tree. It didn't fall back down, so he jumped into the tree. A few branches above his, he saw someone sitting in the trre with a sketchbook on her lap. "You again? What the hell are you doing here?" He climbed up to a branch above her, sitting with one leg against his black Rise Against t-shirt.

"What?" she muttered as a pinecone hit her right in the forehead. When she went to look down to see who kicked a pinecone at her, Peter was sitting above her. "This is neutral territory, genious." she replied, closing her sketchbook.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I must not have seen the huge sign that said: Neutral territory ahead! Don't be a dumbass!" He rolled his eyes. "Thanks so much for letting me know, I just figured you would be with your other vampire friends like Rain or Ulee." He held out his hand for the pinecone. "Give it."

"Just becasue little Petey has no friends doesn't mean I can't have friends." Izzy scoffed, sitting up now. She held the pinecone in her hand, thinking for a minute. "Why do you want it so bad? It's only a stupid pinecone."

"Why do you care what I do with a pinecone?" he retorted, staring at the pinecone.

"Because if it was so important to you, then maybe next time you won't throw it at me." she said, tossing it up and down in the air, catching it in the palm of her pale hand.

"Fine, I'll just find something else." He jumped down out of the tree, spotting another pinecone a few feet away from him. He walked over and picked it up, jumping back onto his branch. He tossed it in his hand a few times before holding it between his thumb and index finger. He stared intently at it, his eyes narrowed.

"Is it your only friend, Petey? Is that who you talk to in the late hours of the night because your attitude drove your real ones away?"
((she sounds so mean lol.... xD))

He felt the anger grow inside him and his lips curved into a smile. He tossed the pinecone into the air, watching it burst into pieces. He brushed the remains off his shirt. "That's why I wanted the pinecone." His smile dropped and he held his hand out again. "Can I have that? Oh, and by the way, I kicked it at you. It would look stupid if someone was walking in the woods and saw some guy throwing pinecones at trees."

"What are you going to do, make it explode?" she growled. "And why would I want to be nice to someone who, just days ago, was allowing Aza to try and kill me? Your not getting this that easy."

"I could make the tree explode instead, if that tickles your fancy."

"I'd appreciate to go home in one piece. But," she said, holding the pincone just out of his reach. "What's so special about this one? THere are like, fifty other ones over there."

"Nothing is special about that one," he snapped. "Maybe I don't want to get up and get another one because I'm lazy." He crossed his arms. "Just give it here."

"I don't know, Peter. This is such a nice pinecone. Maybe I'll draw it first." she taunted.
